Latest Purchase
I found this bobbin holder at JoAnn's the other day, plus I was able to use my 40% coupon on it, so in the end it cost somewhere around $6.00. I have bought many things over the years to keep bobbins in but this one really does work, plus it keeps the ends of the thread in place. It is made of a flexible plastic, so each one of those little pinchers holds a bobbin, and the layers swivel around also. On a scale of 1-10 its a 10.

Sally
We got Sally in August of 1998.
She was the cutiest puppy I have ever seen. She was so smart, but really had a mind of her own. She slept with me every night, and kept close tabs on me at all times.
She had congestive heart disease, and about a week ago it began to affect her kidneys. We lost her yesterday, very suddenly. I guess her heart just couldn't cope anymore.
My husband and I are going to miss her more than we can say.

Cincinnati IQA show
On Friday April 13th, I went to the Quilt show in Cincinnati. I had my camera with me but I didn't take any pictures because I was rushed as we were headed home to Lexington Ky at 3:00 pm. However as I was leaving I couldn't resist taking the time to take a picture of Susan Carlson's dog quilt. I had seen this sometime before, but I love her work and I love the fact that she used mostly polka dot fabrics. I hope you enjoy it just as much as I did.
