TEE SHIRT NECKLAS

Here is another necklas made with a tee shirt.
I simply took the neck and cut it part way around, then left an amount in the front.  I then sliced the fabric from the bottom up to the neck  added pony beads and knots.  How simple is that?  I think I will make some more of these in different colors.  It just slides over your head.

Copper Pendant

This was done by using a piece of cardboard and covering it with batik fabric.  Then stamping with paint and wrapping with copper wire and beads.

New Project

I've been playing with a new idea for bracelets.
This one is made from the seam of an old pair of jeans.  Strung with wire and beads added.  I've make quite a few and will share one at a time.

Another new piece of jewelry

Just finished this piece.  Again I used hand dyed strips of tee shirt fabric and then adorned it with some glittsy threads.

New Piece

I'm still working on new ideas for jewelry.
This is made of strips of handdyed tee shirt fabric.
I felt it needed a little glitz to glued on some crystals.

NEW FABRIC JEWELRY PIECES

As some of you know, I have been playing with the possibilities of Fiber  Jewelry.
The first piece is made using a scrap of Batik fabric, backed with black felt and ribbon for a tie.

The second piece is made from strips of felt with rinestones attached.  Very fun to do, and will wear one to Quilting Guild meeting tonight and see what kind of a reaction I get.
